FAQ

LinkedIn outreach is the process of connecting with other professionals on LinkedIn in order to build relationships and expand your network.

This can be done by sending messages, invitations to connect, or InMails. LinkedIn outreach can be an effective way to build relationships and expand your network with potential customers, clients, or partners. It can also be a great way to find new business opportunities or learn about new trends in your industry.

It depends on the industry, but when comparing LinkedIn to email, LinkedIn has been the most effective channel for many of our clients. It really depends on the industry. For example in the industries of Technology or Marketing, LinkedIn has proven to be significantly more effective than email.

But, when reaching out to small businesses like restaurants or repair businesses, email proves to be far superior. Small business owners tend to not use Linkedin all that much so they wouldn’t even notice the outreach attempt.

The benefit of prospecting on LinkedIn is that it can expand your online community and allow you to directly communicate with people in your target audience as it is the preferred communication channel for professionals, especially in the B2B space.

Many professionals enjoy the transparency of communicating on LinkedIn compared to email. Due to the design and features of the platform you are able to learn more about  one another by viewing their LinkedIn profile.

LinkedIn is a great place to connect with people, particularly if you are going after a niche industry or a smaller company. Yes, the CEO of a Fortune 500 company will be less likely to respond to a LinkedIn request, but the Head of Product at a growing CPG company will be much more likely to enjoy the connection and respond. That’s not to say we haven’t booked meetings for our clients with several Fortune 1,000 companies, but in general it can be less effective as you target the same prospects hundreds of other companies have tried to target as well.

LinkedIn is a great resource for qualified prospects. There are many different methods to generating opportunities on LinkedIn, but our primary tactic is to send invites from your profile to a targeted list with a personalized message.

Then once the prospect accepts the invite, we follow up with another personalized message describing how your product or service is a solution to a common industry-specific pain point. If a prospect does not reply, we send up to 10 follow up messages before we let the conversation go cold.

We send 20 connection requests and 100 follow messages daily on your behalf. We have selected these limits based on the limits that Linkedin uses for flagging accounts that are suspected of “spamming” people.

On average our client’s LinkedIn invite acceptance rate is 40% and reply rate across all clients is 30%. Every profile is different. There are many factors that contribute to these numbers. Like industry, service/product, profile’s professional title, number of connections, experience, and profile presence. We’ll make sure to give you the advice that you need to have a top performing profile.
